The rules of this quiz are slightly different from the previous versions of snap, see below for details.
The 52 snap cards refer to the following eight organic compounds
A snap occurs for pairs of compounds showing (by name or formula) the same compound or referring to the same compound. Compounds that are isomers, such as propanone or propanal, do not count as a snap.
A full set of snap cards can be printed out for private study.
In the game you can set the delay before the computer spots any snaps from 0 seconds (impossible to beat) to 10 seconds (easy to beat if you know any organic chemistry). If you beat the computer, you will be given a clearance code and the chance to print out a clearance certificate. This will say give details of how many snaps you missed and what delay you had the game set on.
